How Does Scannr Work?

What is Bouncer Mode?

The app offers a feature called "bouncer mode," which allows users to set an age limit and filter individuals accordingly. If the person being scanned is above the set age limit, their scanned data will be shown against a green background. Conversely, if they do not meet the age limit, the background will be displayed in red. Additionally, Bouncer Mode can detect expired licenses.

Data Logging and Storage

Data logging functionality can be enabled or disabled depending on your preferences and applicable state laws. When data logging is turned on, Scannr has the capability to generate informative charts using the recorded data. Users can further refine these charts by selecting specific start and end dates.

Scannr only stores aggregated gender and age data. All other information obtained through scans is ignored. Rest assured that your scanned data remains stored solely on your mobile phone unless you configure Scannr to send data to a custom URL.

Pricing Information

The Scannr app can be downloaded for free, allowing users to perform a limited number of scans. If the app proves to be valuable to your needs, an unlimited scan license can be purchased for a specified period of time.

Recovering an "Unlimited Scans Forever" License

In previous versions of Scannr, an "unlimited scans forever" license was available for purchase. If you have acquired such a license, it can be recovered within the app's settings screen after logging in.

Integrating Scannr into Your System

To integrate Scannr into your system, simply navigate to the settings menu and configure the app to send the scanned data to a URL of your choosing. This feature allows you to save the data for future reference if necessary.
